You guys are all insane if you think this game runs at a stable FPS, not even close. In close range fights it's about 15 FPS. If you use the fastest suit with a shotgun or a submachine gun, you can kill anyone close range seeing as you can move faster than the game can track.
Hell, just use the beat down...do you see that animation? Do you think that animation is at least THIRTY frames? Not even remotely close.
For someone who said "your ps3 sucks" rofl whut they all pretty much have the same hardware. And it's not "lag." Lag is the time it takes for the server to shoot information back, it's measured in miliseconds. This game plays like a flip book being flipped at half the speed, especially during big fights, on the big maps, or close range fights. |

The little glitches I can deal with. The run animation being disabled and your guy just zooms forwards, the "hacking" UI blinking in and out, your whole body disappearing whilst throwing a grenade, hitting L1 to zoom in and the Neocom comes up. What I can't deal with is trying to take a shooter serious at sub 30 frames, that's laughable. I see some people on these forums asking for SIXTY frames, which is never going to happen I don't think any console besides COD runs at 60 frames. The gun fights in this game are enjoyable, it has a nice TTK (time to kill), with guns that aren't the easiest to aim, with a nice headshot multiplier, but all of this is for not if the game is at 5 FPS |

Honestly that might just be the real reason so many people play COD. It feels responsive. People kinda like that.
That's one of the reasons why people DO play COD. They don't know it's the reason, because they're probably not hardcore gamers, but people subconsciously get addicted to the nice, smooth, responsive game play that it offers. |
